While I maintain that it is better to have city services on properties that are used by owners for rental properties, this property in this article should have grandfather clauses added to it because it is not a single unit property. I know that there are several donuts in the county in question here that need to be annexed into the city of Gainesville but if the owner in this article is keeping his property highly maintained and he is able to provide low income housing, then why should he be forced to give up his livelihood because some lazy dispatch operator does not want to learn the ins and outs of what is considered county and what is not. This is unfair to this guy and they need to listen to him.
