Trading

Unethical insider trading is insider knowledge unavailable to outsiders. Like we talked about in class with Martha Stewart unfair trading of stocks. After that conversation we talked about buying iteams from people would don't know what they have. The teacher gave the example of an old man having something of value in his barn. The question of is it right to buy something from someone that is of alot more value than you are going to pay. Well there are many things to consider like if you know how much it is worth maybe that is because you really need it but can not afford it. Also if the old man will never find out, and he was not using it who are you hurting? The main point i wanted to bring up is in today's society we should feel less guilty. Ever since the internet people have effortless access to knowledge. With a push of a button we can answer any question. If everyone can find out how much their iteams are worth then it is not our job to tell them, but is it right? Amber Muncey
