Buick Calls it Quits with Tiger

After 4 years of a 5-year contract Buick decided to end the contract a year early, saving 8 million. Im sure Tiger is not hurting for that measly 8 million, but you would think after 4 years of excellent promos that Buick would at least honor the end of the contract. But I guess the economy has got everyone in a pinch.

Ok, yes, Tiger would probably not cry over the 8 million bucks. However, Buick was under a contract to sponsor him for five years and Buikc should honor their contract. Big businesses like that are supposed attempt to look into the future to see what would happen if the economy were bad or Tiger got injured and make adjustments to the contract accordingly. A lot of potential business contracts with Buick could potentially be damaged by Buick acting in such a "selfish" way. It could be seen as Buick being greedy.
On the other hand, It could be seen that Buick is cutting their losses and trying to trim the fat where they could. Tiger has enough sponsors and it is not like he is waiting on the Buick contract to pay his bills.

Who cares that Buick dropped Tiger, we all know his net worth already is more tha imaginable and also I feel he has enough stress on his mind already. He has a family and his own life to worry about. Maybe it is time for Tiger to call it quits for golf in general. He has accomplished enough already
